Upper Level Educational institute in collaboration with Idea Lab Kids presents STEAM Vacation Camp.

Why are STEAM (STEM+ARTS) classes important for your child?

They introduce STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) in a fun engaging way to help your child discover a new passion. This approach to education offers your child a mindset and skill set valued in any future profession. It teaches them to be flexible, detect patterns, find connections and evaluate information

Our STEAM Vacation Camp is packed with exciting hands-on activites, experiments and projects that will engage and inspire your child. They will get to explore their interests in a fun and inclusive environment, all while developing the critical thinking skills and collaboration skills they need to be successful in the future.

STEP UP your game with STEM!

University of the West Indies in collaboration with Upper Level Educational Institute presents it's STEM Vacation Camp.

Get hands-on experience into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at the Department of Physics, University of the West Indies St, Augustine!

Meet and engage with scientist and students in the fields of:

Astronomy
Electronics
Medical Physics
Material Science
Renewable Energy

Certificate of participation awarded on successful completion.

Time: 10.00am to 2.00pm

Location: UWI St. Augustine (Natural Science Building)

ELIGIBILITY & HOW TO APPLY

Only secondary school students ages 14 to 18 can apply.
Applicants must be able to commit their time for the week 24th to 28th July 2023.

Applicants must attach an essay between 250-300 words telling us: Why you want to be a part of this program and what's the most exciting thing you would like to see about the scientific future.
