RECOGNITIONS
ULEI was recognised by the Ministry of Education in 1996 receiving registration status as a private secondary school (registration number 1377). This registration coincided with the school’s introduction of a full-time secondary programme for O’ Level studies.

In 1998 the Ministry of Education granted its approval for the school to become a CXC Examination Centre. This approval ensures full-time students are accommodated at the school to write CXC examinations. To date thousands of students have graduated from our full-time programme.

ULEI received recognition in October 2000 as a Cambridge International Examination centre from the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (Centre # T2005). Since this date ULEI has accommodated candidates throughout the country to sit GCE O’, AS’ and A’ Level Examinations.
